Sheep River Health Trust "Together We Can Make A Difference" Radiothon (@ 0:56)

Join us this Thursday for the 6th annual Sheep River Health Trust Radiothon! 

Thursday, June 20th  5:30am - 7:00pm  on the Eagle 100.9FM and on location at Sobeys Okotoks

All proceed supporting:
·       Okotoks Health & Wellness  - Urgent Care
·       Literacy for Life
·       It Takes a Village
·       Rowan House Emergency Shelter
·       Baby It's Cold Outside
·       Dr. Morris Gibson School Inclusive Playground
·       Foothills Special Needs Association for Parents and Siblings
·       Oilfields General Hospital - RSLTC

How to get involved?   Make a donation by calling 587-576-HERO or join us at one of our fun day activities:
Charity BBQ at Sobeys Okotoks - 11am to 5pm for Smokies & Pop for $3. And on site activities such as Bouncy Castle, Mini Golf, and other games!
Chuckwagon Café  - 8:30 - 10:30am
Foothills Family Medical Center - 11am - 2pm- Charity BBQ. $2 Hotdog and Pop.

Fire Smart Square Butte Event Sat June 22! (@ 2:54)

It is finally here.  I've been telling you about it since November and this Saturday it is finally taking place at the Square Butte Hall on Highway 762.  Come and learn how to Fire Smart your home and buildings.  Details are below.

These two events are taking place during the week during working hours as an attempt to minimize impact on the local residents.  I still want you to be aware that they will be taking place.

WSP Event - June 25th

Details: 50 participants
Routes: Highway 762, Plummers Rd, 1240 Dr, 240 St W, Hwy 549, Hwy 22 and 338 Ave.

Ernst & Young Event - June 26th 

Details: 120 participants in 12 groups of 10 cyclists 
Routes: 240 St W, Plummers Rd, Hwy 762, Hwy 549, Hwy 22, 192 St W, 2239 Dr. and 112 St W
