South West Calgary Ring Road Public Information Sessions

Information Sessions


Alberta Transportation, Mountain View Partners, and KGL Constructors will be hosting public information sessions on February 26 and 27 to provide an update on the 2018 construction season for the Southwest Calgary Ring Road (SWCRR). Display materials will feature information on the road alignment, highlight key construction activities, outline areas that may qualify for noise mitigation, and identify upcoming traffic impacts.

The City of Calgary will also be in attendance to provide details on its projects connecting to the SWCRR. This includes:

MD Wide Crime Discussion Meeting

With the increase in the incidents of crime throughout the province over the last few years, MD Council is looking at different options to address the situation.

To that end, Council wants feedback from residents as to what you would like to see.  Because of that, the MD is organizing a Regional Crime Discussion Meeting featuring the three crime watches, Councillors, MLAs, RCMP, MD Protective Services, Fish & Wildlife and you as members and residents.
